Abstract:

In this paper authors reflected the results of local history research on organization of memory about events of the Great Patriotic War (WWII) and their participants - mobilized from the territory of the Semipalatinsk region of Kazakhstan. This subject is topical because the WWII events are drifting away, number of their participants becomes less and less, but the problem of Nazism, war prevention is still critical. Still remains important the problem of patriotic education of youth, formation of objective and perceptual idea about the WWII, about the people who died, became wounded or sick when protecting the world from the "brown plague."
