Abstract: 

The views of eminent philosophers-existentialists of the XX century (Jean-Paul Sartre and Nikolay Berdyaev) on topical problems of freedom, objective reality, solitude etc. have been analyzed in this report. An attempt to examine the ideological principles of the thinkers in their solidarity and confrontation was made. The represented material reflects a deep analysis of existential philosophy, which was conducted by the author of this article.
